Holidays = pub crawls. Did you know that? Me neither. Last week I wrote about a bar crawl called “The 12 Bars of Christmas,” which will happen on Dec. 11. It’s come to my attention that there is another big holiday pub crawl… and it has the exact same name. This one will take place on Dec. 4, and it appears to be much larger. Organizers expect more than 2,000 people to partake in this “12 Bars of Christmas,” which will trek down First Avenue.
You’ll need an official T-shirt if you want to join in on the festivities. You can still pick one up this week at the following locations:
Monday, Nov. 23: Corner Bar, Mpls. 5-8 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 24: Billy's on Grand, St. Paul, and Park Tavern, St. Louis Park. 5-8 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 25: The Refuge. 5-8 p.m.
The crawl starts at 6 p.m. on Dec. 4. Participating bars: Ugly Mug, Brothers, Rosen's, The Refuge, Drink, Champps, The 508, NBA City, Lyon's Pub, the Annex, Bootleggers and Gluek's.
