A St. Paul resident thinks he was duped by a fast food chain’s promise of a free meal. Here’s what he wrote to Whistleblower:

“I hope you can help me. Over three months ago I had two free coupons for a free meal at [a fast food chain] regarding the new grilled chicken. I went to the one on [….] in St. Paul. They had a sign on the door saying because of customer overload they would not honor them at the time. They had me turn them in and said they would turn them into corporate and I would receive them in the mail. Nothing came. I called the restaurant on two occasions with no results. I called the national hotline twice with no results. I filed a complaint with the BBB with no results. I think that a company should honor their commitments. Help in this area would be greatly appreciated.”

What do you think of the company’s alleged actions? Should it stand by its promotion or should this guy give up after three months of waiting for the coupons?
