Leslee Miller and I had hoped to do another Strib video on pairing for Thanksgiving, but busy schedules all around precluded that.

But we are making independent appearances on the telly this week. Actually, mine was last night on WCCO's "Good Question." And what a great country, eh, where a fat guy can go on TV and talk about getting a buzz?

Meanwhile, the much slimmer and more photogenic Ms. Miller will pop up on KARE's 8 a.m. Saturday show to talk about ... wine, of course.

Not sure how significant it it that two local stations are tackling wine this week, but I'll take it as a good sign. An even better sign: Neither segment is about Bueaujolais Nouveau. :-)
