I haven't played Modern Warfare 2 yet, but now that the highly anticipated video game has been released, the reviews from gaming publications and websites are coming in. The results so far are raves. The website Metacritic, which averages the critical opinions, gives the latest Call of Duty game a Metascore of 96, which equates to universal acclaim. That's good enough to make it No. 2 among the best-reviewed PlayStation 3 games and No. 4 among the best-reviewed Xbox 360 games. Minneapolis-based Game Informer gives the game a 9.75 out of 10, calling it "a masterpiece of careful iteration, with an unmatched presentation and a well of content that will take months to run dry."
