In DFL gubernatorial candidate Tom Bakk's  corner is Dave Griggs, who did stints with the DFL's coordinated campaign team in 2006 and 2008. Griggs, the Bakk team announced today, will be Bakk's campaign manager.

In DFL gubernatorial candidate Margaret Anderson Kelliher's corner is Jaime Tincher, who led the DFL's coordinated campaign from 2005 to 2009, according to her LinkedIn page. Tincher has led Kelliher's for months.

Griggs said he's got nothing but respect for his former boss.

"She's awesome. I think she's fantastic. I look forward to working with/against her, however you want to call it," Griggs said.

Griggs, 30,  hasn't managed a campaign himself before but has spent his share of time around them between going to law school and working for Thomson Reuters as a reference attorney. He left the law to work for Bakk.

"This is what I enjoy doing. I love working on campaigns. I love being part of this process," Griggs said.
