Rep. Jim Oberstar just spoke on the floor urging his colleagues to support the health care bill, likely because a key amendment regarding abortion is expected to pass.

Oberstar indicated in an interview before the speech that if the amendment -- to ensure public money does not fund abortions -- fails to pass, he will have to make a last-minute decision on whether to vote for the bill.

He said on the floor that  the bill is not "perfect" but it's "a good bill."

Just a moment ago, Michele Bachmann told colleagues debating the abortion amendment that "If we do nothing else tonight, let's choose life."
