This report today from Mark Martell, director of bird conservation for Audubon Minnesota, and a participant in the radio-tracking project involving the Golden Eagle called Whitey.

He may be back on his wintering area! A 62-mile jaunt Nov. 2 took our bird into Buffalo County, Wisconsin. On Nov. 3 he moved 21 miles to the NE, over the spot where we released him in March. Late in the afternoon he settled in to a wooded area about seven miles north, where he remained through Nov 4.
