The Smithers family tried to be resourceful after they lost their jobs and were evicted from their trailer. They spent months camping with their three young children while they looked for jobs. But when they tried to get housing help, they were turned down because of a rule they weren't told about. I wrote about their situation in the Sunday Whistleblower column and got a lot of response from people who wanted to help the family.

State investigators blew the whistle on Suzanne James, a St. Cloud psychologist who encouraged and embellished her troubled client's crazy theories. I wrote a story for Saturday's paper about what happened to James and why she is still allowed to practice. I also talked about the story on today's NewsBreak.
