There are 14 NYC firefighters attending tonight’s game. They attend one Rangers road game a year, and one of the firemen has a brother-in-law who is the chef at Meritage Restaurant. Some were there during 9/11 and some are some new recruits since then. One of the firefighters headed to an elementary school today for a visit because ever since 9/11, that class has been writing notes to their fire house.
