Roman Augustoviz is covering Gophers hockey this season for a third year. Coach Don Lucia's team finished seventh and fifth in the WCHA his first two years on the beat, but it’s not his fault. Jordan Schroeder is back at center on the Gophers' first line but his linemates on Saturday night are going to be different.

On Friday, Schroeder played left wing with Mike Carman at center and Jay Barriball at right wing. But Barriball is out with an injury, so here is how Saturday's lines look:

First line/ Schroeder at center withy Mike Hoeffel and Patrick White from the second line on Friday. There is an asterisk there. White is ill and might not play. If he is out Joe Miller will be in the lineup someplace. He will warm up so he is ready to go.

Second line/ Carman with Tony Lucia and Zach Budish, who moves up from the fourth line.

Third line/ Taylor Matson with Jake Hansen and Nico Sacchetti.

Fourth line/ Nick Larson, who has not played yet, with Ryan Flynn and Josh Birkholz.

The defensive pairs are the same:

First/ Nick Leddy and David Fischer

Second/ Cade Fairchild and Aaron Ness

Third/ Seth Helgeson and Kevin Wehrs

Who will be the goalie? Probably Kent Patterson.
