In addition to speaking to the Twin Cities media today, Brett Favre also did a conference call with reporters in Cleveland. Not surprisingly, many of their questions focused on Favre's relationship with Browns coach Eric Mangini.

The two spent last season together with the New York Jets.

Near the end of the call Favre was asked if he's been impressed with Pro Bowl running back Adrian Peterson.

"Well, how's he impressed you guys? No different with me," Favre said. "The guy's a stud. To me, what's amazing, like what Randy Moss has done historically, when you know they're going to throw to him and he still catches it. You know they're going to hand it to Adrian, and he still can get 1,700 yards. [That] is pretty impressive. He's just a dynamic back. If anything, my few weeks working with him, his work ethic is second to none. That along with his talent is why he has been such a success and will continue to be a success. And he's a good guy. Guys want to block for him. Everything I thought of Adrian Peterson has held true. I have a lot of respect for the guy. It'll be fun handing it to him."
