Ripe. NWS Doppler at 1:55 PM shows strengthening storms over southwest Minnesota and eastern South Dakota, some capable of 1" hail. These storms should continue to intensify into a possible MCS (meso-convective system) or even a derecho later today; isolated supercells over far southern Minnesota most likely to spin up tornadoes.
