Swarms of Storms. NWS Doppler at 6:09 PM shows the first wave of storms pushing into Wisconsin, but more heavy storms are lining up over central and western Minnesota. Plan on a noisy night, with T-storms spilling over into much of Sunday as a slow-moving cool frontal boundary limps across the state.


Flash Flood Watch Central Minnesota. NOAA has issued a watch for central Minnesota into Sunday morning, where the ground is waterlogged from 1-3" rains, and more heavy showers and "training" T-storms will increase the risk of flash flooding overnight. Details:

  THE SAME AREA AND ALSO THROUGH THE ARROWHEAD AND INTO NORTHWEST
  WISCONSIN.

* AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS RESPONDING TO THE HEAVY RAIN FROM THIS
  MORNING WILL SEE A SECONDARY RISE TONIGHT AND TOMORROW AS
  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL DRAINS INTO THE SMALLER STREAM BASINS. THERE
  IS THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING TONIGHT...HOWEVER
  THE MAIN THREAT WILL BE WATER LEVELS ALONG STREAMS...CREEKS AND
