Lingering Storms Limp Across Metro Area

No All-Clear Yet. NWS Doppler radar at 4:02 PM shows an east-west oriented band of showers and heavier T-storms pushing across the metro area. The brunt of the heaviest rains are now in Wisconsin; once this last band rumbles through it should begin to dry out. As much as 1-3" of rain has already fallen, with the heaviest 2-3" amounts near Elk River, Monticello and St. Cloud.
