Yet-another student housing complex has been completed at the University of Minnesota.

This time, it's The Station on Washington, a 97-unit apartment complex located near the light-rail Central Corridor's East Bank Station.

The project is nearly fully leased, according to Minnetonka-based Opus Group. (That's just in time for the fall semester.)

Rental rates range from $600 to $1,400 a month, depending on the unit's size and type. In addition, the 11,000-square-feet of retail space is fully leased with a new Walgreens store, as well as Haiku Sushi restaurant (which will open this month).

The complex includes private underground parking; top-floor club room with TVs, shuffleboard and views of downtown Minneapolis and TCF Bank Stadium; and a cardio fitness room.

Opus Development LLC was the developer on the project, Opus Design Build was the contractor, Elness Swenson Graham Architects was the architect, and Opus AE Group LLC managed the structural engineering and interior design efforts.
