Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, will make a campaign stop in Minneapolis on Friday.

"Dr. Biden will speak about what's at stake for the middle class in this election and encourage supporters to help organize their communities between now and November," the Obama for president campaign said.

The campaign did not provide any other details of Biden's visit other than she would speak at campaign events in Minnesota.

President Obama, Joe Biden and Republican candidate Mitt Romney have all made campaign stops in Minnesota in recent months.

Minnesota is not considered a battleground presidential state but campaign visits from the key players are expected to pick up as Election Day approaches.

Jill Biden spoke to the Democratic National Convention about her husband last week.
