Heavy Rain Moves Out
Thanks to WNTV Meteorologist Bryan Karrick for the picture below from the Cologne Park. A months worth of rain fell in 36 hours. The good news is that we are starting to dry out and should fairly dry through Friday.
Radar Rain Estimates
A large swath of 3" to 5" + fell from southwest Minnesota towards Duluth. As of 5pm, there had been 2.58" on Thursday alone... a new record! The old record was 1.27" set in 1937. Wednesday, there was 0.81"

Heavy Rain Moves East
We missed out on the main round of severe weather today, that is tracking across central Wisconsin. Cooler, drier winds are blowing in from the northwest, which will help to dry us out a bit. Friday looks MUCH drier with even a little sun! You won't need to water around the Metro anytime soon.
