President Barack Obama will be coming to Minnesota on June 1, according to sources.
The details of the president's visit are still being worked.
The visit will come the day before the DFL starts its state convention in Rochester, Minn.
Unlike previous years, Minnesota is not considered a battleground state. The president broke recent cycles' pattern of close presidential elections by winning the state in 2008 with a 10 percentage point margin and still has relatively high approval ratings.
Obama was last in Minnesota for a Midwest bus tour that went from Cannon Falls down to Iowa and over to Illinois.
