Michele Bachmann has hired South Carolina GOP strategist Wesley Donehue, giving a needed boost to a presidential campaign that has been beset by staff problems in New Hampshire and Washington. Donehue, named Wednesday among a passel of new Palmetto State aides, currently works as the political director and spokesman for the South Carolina Senate Republican Caucus, giving him contacts and establishment credentials in the first-in-the-South primary state . He's expected to help Bachmann's presidential campaign with communications and new media outreach, something he has done for other campaigns across the country, including that of U.S. Rep Joe ("You Lie!") Wilson, R-S.C.
