For the first time since he lived there as a child, Abdi Phenomenal returned to the Dadaab refugee camp in East Africa last August. He and fellow Poet Nation founder Matt Erickson made the trip to film the plight of famine victims arriving at the camp. The documentary, "Voices of Dadaab," which features a song and poetry by Phenomenal, can be viewed at www.startribune.com/a1139.
