Tiffany Bourre, spokesman for Saks’ parent Hudson’s Bay Co., said “the decision to close the store was already made” when the Canadian retail chain bought Saks in 2013. “However, we are actively looking for opportunities to reopen a location in downtown Minneapolis.”
