You could say that I’m a bit of an Anglophile. Having realized I was behind on my reading of Kate Morton’s books, I’ve finished “The Secret Keepers” and am racing through “The Lake House.” Both are family stories with secrets that are page-turning good. Wonderful expressive writer; such well-drawn characters. Then, an English friend of a Kansas City friend said not to miss Claire Fuller’s latest, “Swimming Lessons.” That literary mystery will come soon along with her earlier acclaimed “Our Endless Numbered Days.” Just good stories for long summer days.
