Designed to ease the day-in, day-out urban grind for its drivers, the SX4 Sport sedan seamlessly blends into varied driving conditions and environments.


The SX4 Sport is fun, furious and nimble, never dull or boring.

With features derived from the SX4 Crossover introduced last year, Suzuki delivers the all-new SX4 Sport sedan to the American automotive marketplace. Designed to ease the day-in, day-out urban grind for its drivers, the SX4 Sport sedan seamlessly blends into varied driving conditions and environments.

The new sedan features an aggressive front fascia and grille; a muscular and athletic stance; and a low, rising waistline that makes a visual statement that underscores its on-road performance. Available in Base and Touring models, power for the front-drive sedan is generated by a sophisticated 2.0L four-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. A four-speed automatic transmission is an available option.

At speed, the SX4 Sport is fun, furious and nimble, never dull or boring. The SX4 Sport sedan chassis borrows design elements from the European Suzuki Swift.

The SX4 Sport features a rigid steel unibody underpinned with a European-tuned chassis to provide good stability on the highway, along with crisp and responsive handling and braking with minimal body roll. The combination of a wide track and large 17-inch wheels and tires help to optimize the ride and handling balance. The SX Sport sedan is also equipped with large four-wheel disc brakes as standard equipment.

The stylish design cues continue inside the impressively sophisticated passenger cabin. A functional and high-tech center panel offers large, circular controls flanked by modern aluminum-colored trim. Instruments and controls are backlit by contemporary, high-tech red lighting, and the ergonomic design of the instrument cluster and dashboard provide a clear view of the meters and easy access to the controls for a true driver-oriented cabin. The sport cockpit theme extends throughout the cabin, with a dark interior that features black cloth for a look that is both sharp and refined.

Wide door openings provide the driver and passengers with above-average ease of entry and exit, while the large cabin proportions and in-command seating position optimize visibility, to enhance driver confidence and control. The roomy interior offers generous legroom and shoulder room, even for rear-seat passengers. Interior volumes are equal to or better than the volume leaders in the segment and provide class-leading headroom.

The trunk area was designed for storage and security. Additionally, there are many discrete storage compartments located throughout the cabin, and all four doors feature large pockets and bottle holders for added convenience.
