Authorities on Sunday identified the young man shot to death last week and left on the street in north Minneapolis.
Tyrone E. Lyles, 19, of Richfield, died from a gunshot to the chest Wednesday night, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.
No arrests in the killing have been announced.
Police were called about 9 p.m. to 15th Avenue North, between Irving and Humboldt avenues, and found Lyles in the street near North High School. Police said the shooting doesn't appear to be random and it is not connected to the high school.
