Friends remember Patrick Holmes
More than 600 family members, friends and teammates of Patrick Holmes gathered for a service at the Church of St. William in Fridley to support each other and celebrate the life of a man who will be remembered for his pitching prowess, quick wit and competitive spirit. Holmes died in the I-35W bridge collapse. Three of his friends recount their friendships: Jamie Newpower, Jim Block and Jack Munich, in this order.
