The father of algebra

Muhammad Ibn Musa Al-Khawarizmi was a famous mathematician, thought to be the founder of algebra. Al-Khawarizmi also introduced Europeans to fractions, the concept of zero and more. His story is read by Fatina Shaheen, mathematics teacher at Al-Amal Muslim School in Fridley.
