Ibn Sina was a classical-era philosopher and scientist who was so talented he was proficient in medical science at the age 17. One of his books became the chief guide to medicine in the west. His story is read by Fatina Shaheen, mathematics teacher at Al-Amal Muslim School in Fridley.
