“Bring out your bikes!”

That’s the clarion call from the Cycling Museum of Minnesota (based in Minneapolis) for its upcoming ride and rally. It also speaks loudly, too, for the Minnesota bike event calendar.

Bike tours, Open Streets events, cyclocross championships, mountain bike racing. Heck, preparation for the winter fat tire schedule. The cycling options for all, beginners and experts, fill the fall calendar. Below are a few notable events. For an immediate fix, consider this weekend’s Minneapolis Bike Tour. The ride has the option of two distances (32 and 16 miles), and starts and ends at Boom Island. Details on day-off registration at minneapolisparks.org.
