Early Tuesday, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban announced their Twin Cities gigs for 2011 and then in the afternoon, Taylor Swift trumped them with two nights -- June 14 and 15 -- at Xcel Energy Center.

The 20-year-old country-pop superstar will visit St. Paul on her 19-country, 87-show Speak Now World Tour. After performing in Asia and Europe in February and March, Swift will return to the States, starting May 27 in Omaha. Her tour will include stadium concerts in Detroit, Dallas, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Boston and Philadelphia. Tickets will start at $25 but other ticket information is not available yet. Her "Speak Now" album has been one of the year's hottest sellers.

Rascal Flatts and Urban will both return next year after taking a year off from playing the Twin Cities. Rascal Flatts are set for Jan. 21 at Xcel Center, with openers Luke Bryan and Chris Young. Tickets, priced from $25-$69, will go on sale Dec. 4.

Urban's Get Closer 2011 Tour will not arrive until Oct. 15 at Target Center, but tickets will go on sale April 8. The Australian star released his "Get Closer" album last week.

While high ticket prices and the economy have hurt sales on other concert tours during the past year and a half, all of these chart-topping country mainstays have filled Xcel Energy Center during that span.
