Friday's morning commute was a smooth one except for a couple of hiccups on northbound 35W. A vehicle hit a chunk of concrete and broke down in the left lane at Hennepin Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Not long after, a crash involving a truck towing a horse trailer took out the left lane at 4th Street.

Those two incidents caused traffic to bog down as far back as Hiawatha Avenue. Both have cleared out.

The rest of the system flowed fast as traffic levels were light. A few minor delays were encountered on southbound 35W at County Road 23.

Here are our current incidents:
Stall blocking the left lane on westbound 494 at France Avenue in Bloomington.

Crash blocking right shoulder of westbound 394 at Hwy. 100 in Golden Valley.

Road work on eastbound 94 at 494 in Woodbury and the ramp from southbound 35W to Industrial Blvd.

I'll have your weekend traffic outlook a bit later this morning, so check back for that.
