RICHFIELD 20, SIBLEY 7: The Spartans used the big play to beat Sibley on Friday night. Brian Murdock scored Richfields first touchdown with a 9-yard interception return while Renard Robinson gave the Spartans the lead for good with a 35-yard scoring pass from Kevin Roth.

JEFFERSON 36, EAGAN 29: Quarterback Moses Alipate had a hand in on all five Jaguar touchdowns, passing for four and running for one, in a victory over Eagan. He threw two touchdown passes to Beau Shaw, including an 80-yarder. Shaw caught three passes for 164 yards. Eagans Josh Rodke rushed for 187 yards on 14 carries and four touchdowns

SOUTH 30, EDISON 26: Junior linebacker Will Ferguson returned an interception 20 yards for a touchdown with 2 minutes, 56 seconds remaining, capping off the Tigers comeback against the Tommies. Waylon Hartwick ran for Souths first three touchdowns.
WASHBURN 35, ROOSEVELT 20: Johnny Watkins ran for four touchdowns, lifting the Millers over the Teddies. The junior scored on runs of 22, 2, 20 and 4 yards.

HOLY ANGELS 29, RED WING 3: Junior Peter Brinkhaus, a third-string quarterback two weeks ago, threw three touchdown passes as the Stars beat the Wingers. Senior Willy Baregi was on the receiving end of 10- and 65-yard scoring plays from Brinkhaus.
HUTCHINSON 29, NEW PRAGUE 20: The Tigers ground attack produced 22 consecutive points in the second half, rallying Hutchinson past the Trojans. Senior running back Brian Renkes started the spurt with back-to-back 4-yard touchdown runs.
NORTH SUBURBAN
IRONDALE 27, COOPER 0: Wes Carlson ran for three touchdowns and the Knight defense shut out the Hawks. Carlson also helped out the defensive unit with an interception.
NORTHWEST SUBURBAN
BLAINE 28, CENTENNIAL 0: The Bengals defense limited Centennial to 77 yards, helping Blaine to its first victory of the season. Junior fullback Tobi Saporu ran for two scores while quarterback James Peterson ran for one and threw for another.
CHAMPLIN PARK 21, ANOKA 18: Senior wide receiver Nate Dudgeon caught a 51-yard touchdown pass from Jeff Ross late in the first half to give the Rebels a two-touchdown lead, and then they held off Anokas second-half comeback bid. The Tornadoes pulled within 21-18 in the third quarter on Kyle Griffins field goal and Junior Sirleafs 3-yard run.
COON RAPIDS 17, ANDOVER 7: Junior quarterback Blair Townsend threw a 37-yard scoring strike to Jerrad Zimmel in the third quarter, breaking a tie and leading the Cardinals past the Huskies. Teammate Jesse Trimble ran for 116 yards on 24 carries and opened the scoring with a 5-yard run in the first quarter.
MAPLE GROVE 49, ELK RIVER 14: Ethan Magstadt rushed for 180 yards on 16 carries and scored three touchdowns as the Crimson cruised past the Elks. Maple Grove, which rolled up 411 yards of offense, scored two touchdowns in each of the first three quarters in building a 42-0 lead.
OSSEO 42, PARK CENTER 6: The Orioles tandem of Marcus Sims and Tate Christopherson ran roughshod over the Pirates in a dominating 42-point first half. Sims ran for 109 yards and three scores while Christopherson threw three touchdown passes. Christopherson completed six of seven passes for 147 yards.
ST. PAUL CITY
HARDING 39, ARLINGTON 0: Joe Rubbelke threw four touchdown passes as the Knights shut out the Phoenix. Rubbelke also scored on an 11-yard run.
