CLARKFIELD, Minn. A Twin Cities man was accidentally shot while hunting pheasant in western Minnesota.
Authorities say 50-year-old Todd James Pedersen of Excelsior was hunting with his son-in-law Wednesday near Clarkfield when the two came to a creek.
The son-in-law crossed the stream first, and Pedersen handed him two 12-gauge shotguns one at a time. As the son-in-law handled the second gun, it went off -- striking Pedersen in the right arm.
Pedersen was taken to a hospital. His condition was not known.
