Report: Bus crash in China's southwest kills 51 people

BEIJING - A state news agency says a fiery bus crash in China's mountainous southwest has killed 51 people.

The China News Service said the bus veered off a road Saturday in Sichuan province, fell 300 feet into a gorge and exploded.

The long-distance highway bus was bound from Bazhong in Sichuan to Ningbo, coastal city south of Shanghai.

There was no word on any survivors.
