St. Paul police want to talk to assault victim, find attackers

Authorities want to speak with an assault victim injured Monday during demonstrations associated with the Republican National Convention.

In a photograph released by St. Paul police, three men dressed in black with their faces covered are shown beating a man wearing a white T-shirt. Police also are seeking assistance in identifying the attackers.

In total, 818 people were arrested during the four-day convention, which ended Thursday. About 396 were arrested Thursday night, according to the Joint Information Center, the law enforcement command center charged with providing security and public safety during the convention. Most of those arrested were ticketed and released.
