Last update: July 9, 2008 - 10:48 PM

Richfield police are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman who suffered a medical emergency Tuesday evening at a Home Depot store.

Rescue workers found the 40- to 50-year-old woman in the store parking lot at 6301 Richfield Pkwy. about 5:50 p.m. They took her to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she was in the intensive care unit Wednesday and unable to identify herself.

A Home Depot employee said the woman had tried to find a screw bit for her boyfriend who was building a deck.

Police described her as a white woman with long, dark curly hair containing a pink elastic "scrunchie." She was wearing a white T-shirt that said "Minnesota Orchestra 100 Years" on the front. She was wearing blue shorts with the Minnesota Twins logo on the left side and white "Pro Spirit" tennis shoes, size 5 1/2.

Anyone who can identify the woman is asked to call the Richfield police at 612-861-9898.
