Last update: April 6, 2008 - 3:15 PM

PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. - A community prayer service that had been scheduled for Sunday in Pelican Rapids following a fatal bus crash has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The service will now be held at 5 p.m. Monday in the Pelican Rapids High School gymnasium.

School officials had planned to open the school's auditorium at noon Sunday for grieving students, parents and friends, and also had planned a staff meeting. But according to the school district's Web site, the events were canceled because of snow.

A school assembly is still planned for Monday morning to discuss the crash.

One student, 16-year-old Jessica Weishair of Barnesville, was killed in the crash, which happened early Saturday morning on Interstate 94 in Albertville.

The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the crash. The roads were dry when the bus went off the road and rolled onto its side.
