CHANHASSEN

AUG. 30

Property damage. Tires were slashed in the 500 block of 79th Street. The damage was estimated at $900.

AUG. 31

Arson. A portable toilet was set on fire in the 8700 block of Flamingo Drive.

Burglary. Somebody stole a big-screen TV and a computer, total value $7,800, from a home in the 6900 block of Highover Drive.

SEPT. 4

Disturbance. A caller in the 7600 block of Chanhassen Road reported that somebody was throwing "creamy coffee" on a vehicle.

SEPT. 6

Theft. A purse was stolen in the 400 block of W. 79th Street.

DEEPHAVEN

AUG. 13

Burglary. A home in the 19000 block of Lake Avenue was burglarized and items valued at $3,000 were taken.

EDEN PRAIRIE

AUG. 28

Burglary. Somebody stole a Lexus valued at $36,025 from a garage in the 14800 block of Blakeney Road.

Theft. Somebody broke into a vehicle and stole CDs and a stereo, total value $3,100, in the 8200 block of Flying Cloud Drive.

EXCELSIOR

SEPT. 2

Disorderly conduct. Police arrested two Minneapolis men, ages 19 and 28, after a report that they were fighting, harassing a cab driver and damaging the taxi by striking it. It happened near Lake Street and Water Street. The 19-year-old also was cited for underage drinking.

HOPKINS

SEPT. 6

Burglary. An entertainment system, a subwoofer and speakers, total value $1,000, were stolen from an apartment in the 100 block of N. Blake Road.

SEPT. 7

Fraud. Credit card fraud was reported in the 1000 block of S. 1st Street.

SEPT. 8

Noise complaint. A caller in the 500 block of Mainstreet reported that people in an apartment were being loud and crazy. When questioned further, the caller said "You ask too many questions" and hung up.

SEPT. 12

Burglary. A St. Louis Park man, 35, was charged in connection with a burglary at Lindee's Saloon and Eatery, 919 Cambridge St. According to a criminal complaint, a broken window was discovered at the business on the morning of May 15 and about $80 in petty cash and an ATM were missing. Police found fingerprints matching those of the St. Louis Park man, according to the complaint.

INDEPENDENCE

AUG. 21

Burglary. A man entered a house in the 9400 block of Hwy. 12 about 2:20 a.m., waking up the residents. Police arrested the man.

LAKE MINNETONKA

AUG. 29

Theft. Property valued at $1,335 was stolen from a private dock in Wayzata Bay.

MAPLE GROVE

AUG. 31

Theft. A laptop and a backpack were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 10500 block of 103rd Avenue.

SEPT. 3

Theft. Somebody pried open a box for outgoing mail at an apartment building in the 8300 block of Rice Lake Road and stole mail.

SEPT. 4

Theft. A gun was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 6900 block of Crest Drive.

MAPLE PLAIN

AUG. 20

Theft. A mountain bike was stolen in the 5600 block of W. Main Street.

AUG. 23

Theft. A pickup was stolen in the 5500 block of Pioneer Creek Drive and found Sept. 5 in Orono.

MEDINA

AUG. 24

Theft. A golf club was stolen from a building in the 400 block of Evergreen Road.

MINNETONKA

SEPT. 2

Theft. Police arrested a 16-year-old boy for shoplifting in the 12400 block of Ridgedale Drive.

SEPT. 3

Burglary. A burglary was reported in the 11300 block of Greenbrier Road.

SEPT. 5

Assault. A Minneapolis man, 28, was arrested in connection with an assault in the 12200 block of Ridgedale Drive.

SEPT. 8

Theft. Police arrested a Little Canada woman, 22, for theft in the 13200 block of Ridgedale Drive.

MINNETRISTA

SEPT. 8

Theft. Somebody stole 29 goose decoys, total value $600, from land along County Road 92.

PLYMOUTH

SEPT. 7

Burglary. A business in the 4200 block of N. Lancaster Lane was broken into and computers, a briefcase and a cell phone, total value $4,300, were stolen.

SEPT. 8

Fraud. A caller in the 4100 block of N. Berkshire Lane reported that somebody had used somebody else's name to purchase furniture totaling $6,947.

Property damage. Occupants of a house in the 6100 block of N. Ives Lane heard a knock and a loud crash about 9:30 p.m. They looked out the window and saw a man dressed in black running away, then checked and found that their front door had been smashed in.

Burglary. A resident of the 5400 block of N. Pineview Lane reported being woken up about 10:45 p.m. by a noise downstairs, then going down and finding that a screen door had been cut, allowing somebody to reach in and unlock the door. Nothing appeared to be missing from the house, police said.

SEPT. 9

Theft. A resident of the 9900 block of 26th Avenue N. said a boy went into the garage and started to take a mountain bike. The resident asked what he was doing and he said "Jake" told him he could use it. The resident told him he didn't know anybody named Jake, and the boy left.

SEPT. 10

Theft. A catalytic converter was taken off a vehicle in the 9700 block of N. 37th Place.

ST. LOUIS PARK

AUG. 20

Theft. Thefts from vehicles were reported in the 7400 and 7500 blocks of Hwy. 7.

Burglary. A burglary was reported at a home in the 6300 block of Cambridge Street.

AUG. 22

Theft. Property was stolen from a yard in the 5900 block of Oxford Street.

AUG. 23

Theft. A vehicle was stolen in the 6900 block of Wayzata Boulevard.

AUG. 25

Burglary. Nine businesses in the 6000 block of Wayzata Boulevard were burglarized.

AUG. 28

Burglary. A home in the 2900 block of Rhode Island Avenue S. was burglarized.

SHOREWOOD

AUG. 28

Burglary. An iPod and a laptop, total value $1,332, were stolen from a home in the 27600 block of Brynmawr Place.

VICTORIA

SEPT. 6

Theft. A credit card was reported stolen in the 1500 block of Cavaletti Court.
